Dr. Ed Grendys shares a belief that all women with suspected or diagnosed gynecologic cancer should be offered access to modern treatment options, which have been proven to offer a greater likelihood of an improved outcome. With a strong academic background including a clinical faculty appointment at Northwestern University's, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Grendys continues to be involved with cutting edge research in gynecologic oncology. His experience in diagnostic methodologies, perioperative care and radical as well as reconstructive pelvic and abdominal surgery has been developed from years of experience at major academic institutions. A strong patient advocate, he believes that treating of patients with dignity and compassion with a strong emphasis on quality of life is critical to oncologic care and patient satisfaction.
